CORE Launches First Mobile Lunch and Learn in Texas Ahead of Schedule
CORE Erosion Control has successfully kicked off its inaugural mobile Lunch and Learn event this week in Dallas, Texas, marking a significant milestone. Initially planned for early next year, the event launched two months ahead of schedule, underscoring CORE’s commitment to innovation and customer engagement.

East Coast Regional Sales Manager Rob Lawson was the lead in educating at the the Lunch and Learn. It was organized for a potential new distributor, providing professional development hours, in-depth training on sediment control Best Management Practices (BMPs), and showcasing the advantages of CORE’s product line. Lawson is experienced in the industry and holds a CESCP certification that makes his knowledge world class for Lunch and Learns. Regional Sales Manager JD Morgan has been working with distributors to arrange Lunch and Learns and is finding success in creating the sessions.
“This was a very savvy Erosion and Sediment Control group who asked a lot of questions. I felt we gave them a huge comfort and confidence boost,” said Rob Lawson, CESCP and Regional Sales Manager.
A Step Forward in Education and Relationship Building
Chris Creed, Sales Manager for CORE expressed excitement about the program’s early success.
“It is a huge blessing to be ahead of schedule on this project. We are also on track to use the Corporate Lab area ahead of schedule, which will allow us to offer both stationary and mobile Lunch and Learn platforms,” Creed said.
The combination of these platforms will enable the CORE team to train and educate buyers and decision-makers wherever they are located, fostering deeper relationships and increasing brand awareness. Creed extended gratitude to the team.
“Special thanks to Rob, JD, and the Communications Team for their hard work and dedication to making this a success.”
Expanding Opportunities During the Winter Season
Looking ahead, CORE plans to expand and enhance the Lunch and Learn program over the winter months. Recognizing that sediment control product sales typically decline during this period due to frozen ground and inclement weather. The company sees this as an ideal time for engineers and erosion control professionals to participate in educational opportunities and training.
The mobile Lunch and Learn initiative is part of CORE’s ongoing effort to provide innovative solutions, strengthen relationships and advance its mission in the sediment control industry. With this program, CORE is poised to make a lasting impact on training, education and sales growth.
