CORE Mesh Manufacturing Moving to Lordstown
CORE mesh manufacturing operations, which have been located at our Vienna, OH facility since 2020, will be moving to our Lordstown, OH location.

“The primary reason for the mesh department to move to Lordstown is for more room for expanding,” CORE Operations Manager Dwayne Trafka said.
As Millwood and our CORE division continue to grow, additional manufacturing space will allow us to accommodate the growing demand of our erosion control customers. In Vienna, mesh manufacturing had around 12,000 square feet. The square footage in Lordstown will be more than double at around 28,000+ square feet.
“This way, we will have more room for more knitting machines to help with the demand of our filter socks,” Dwayne said. “We also have a couple new knitting machines we purchased coming in in a few weeks.”
Four team members currently run the mesh manufacturing operation: Kyle Gay and Courtney Klein on first shift and DeAndre Young and Antoneo Chavers on second shift.
The move is scheduled for January 17, and the operation is expected to be fully operational in February. Stay tuned for future updates on the mesh manufacturing division.
