CORE Attends Municipal Wet Weather Stormwater Conference

On May 15 and 16, CORE Erosion Control Regional Sales Managers Rob Lawson and T.J. Agee attended the 10th annual Municipal Wet Weather Stormwater Conference in Auburn, AL sponsored by the Southeast Chapter of the International Erosion Control Association and The School of Engineering, Auburn University.

The conference attracted an impressive crowd of over 160 attendees, including state EPA officials, DOT personnel, engineers and municipal stormwater managers from across the Southeast. More than 25 vendors, many of whom are valued CORE customers, supported the event.

Attendees had the opportunity to engage in informative breakout sessions covering a wide range of topics. These sessions highlighted the importance of keeping sediment out of waterways, Best Management Practices (BMP) for construction sites, maintenance practices, collecting rainfall data and the impact of climate changes on erosion control efforts.

Rob and T.J. took full advantage of the networking opportunities provided by the conference, connecting with other industry professionals and forging new relationships.

“We had the opportunity to introduce CORE to several new contacts,” Rob said.

The Municipal Wet Weather Stormwater Conference proved to be an invaluable platform for CORE Erosion Control to showcase its expertise, share insights and strengthen its position as a leader in the erosion control industry.
