CORE Erosion Control at the Southeast Texas IECA Show in San Marcos

The Southeast Texas IECA (International Erosion Control Association) show took place from October 6th to 8th in San Marcos, Texas. CORE Erosion Control was represented and attended by JD Morgan and Chris Creed. It took place at the Embassy Suites by Hilton San Marcos Hotel Conference Center for regional training, cutting-edge product showcases and invaluable networking opportunities.

JD and Chris were actively engaged in passing out literature, answering questions and educating key decision-makers about CORE Erosion Control products. The event provided an excellent opportunity to highlight the importance of effective sediment control measures, especially in areas like San Marcos, where silt fence is a common tool used in construction projects.

“It was surprising to see how many engineers and site planners were not familiar with filter sock,” JD, Regional Sales Manager in Texas, said.

This observation highlighted a crucial gap in knowledge for many professionals, which CORE Erosion Control was able to address.

“I am excited that our presence here has secured another option for them to choose from,” he added, emphasizing how CORE’s products can serve as an effective alternative.

In addition to networking, the CORE team had a front-row seat to several informative sessions, gaining valuable insights into the importance of erosion and sediment control. They also learned about the latest technologies being deployed to combat the ongoing issue of contaminants and pollutants entering our waterways.
