CORE Team Exhibits at IECA Mid-Atlantic Northeast Chapters Annual Conference

The Mid-Atlantic and Northeast chapters of the International Erosion Control Association (IECA) combined their annual conference into a single event, drawing experts, vendors and stakeholders from across the region.

The conference was held September 9-11 and featured informative sessions, networking opportunities and a chance for professionals to collaborate on industry advancements.

“It was a fantastic opportunity to interact with a lot of customers in one place. It’s not often we get this many industry experts together, and the combination of the two chapters really amplified the networking potential,” said Rob Lawson, Chesapeake Regional Sales Manager.

The conference kicked off with a beautiful golf outing, providing attendees with a relaxed atmosphere to connect before diving into the meat of the event. 

The Core Erosion Control team exhibited in a booth at the conference, which proved to be a valuable opportunity for the company.

Vendors showcased cutting-edge products and services, including Core and Main, Ferguson, Environmental Construction Solutions, Western Green, MKB and Job Site Products.

Lawson highlighted the importance of being part of such a comprehensive event.

“It’s rare to have so many industry vendors and customers in one place, which made the conference an ideal setting for building relationships and discussing future projects,” Rob said.

The success of the combined IECA conference indicates that collaboration is key to tackling the challenges of erosion and sediment control in the Mid-Atlantic and Northeast regions.
